I used your blog to help install Giscus (a similar service inspired by Utterances) on my own Jekyll site and it worked a treat! Ty Ren! 🙏 |

Hello, first of all. Thank you so much for writing a good article. I'm sorry that I used your discus account by mistake. I modified the account information to mine. I want to ask you a question. I purchased a Hydejack theme PRO license, downloaded the starter kit, followed your blog, and customized it. Are any more actions required to use the PRO license? Do I have to put the PRO license info in some of the theme files? Thank you. |

Only annoying thing is that the comment text area displays as the very last thing, when intuitively, it should be at the TOP of all the comments, just below the article. |

Use Utterances for Jekyll Comments System | Lazy Ren
Disqus is used as default comments plugin for the Hydejack and most of the static site. But I had some issues with Disqus, so I looked elsewhere to find new comments plugin. Disqus loads slowly. link within comment is broken. The most important reason I chose to move on. Disqus automatically adds prefix starting with disq.us/url?, the problem is…. disq.us is not responding so the link gets lost. Utterances uses github issues to save & display comments. So you have to give proper permission to the github-bot. But once you set things up correctly, it works very smoothly and fast. Only downside I’ve encountered so far is that it requires user to login to the github in order to write comments, and there is
