Voice Browser Search

I'm sorry if this is posted in the wrong place. I would like to submit a request that this voice app have an option to be piped into a browser search such as brave or duckduckgo and mapped to a long press on the home button.

I'm pretty sure you actually can do this! I'm... not sure how I did it, but this app is definitely my default voice input for that sort of situation.

I'm not sure how to do this without uninstalling the default voice input, though.

I would love to know how you did it. I turned on "Hold for Home Assistant" and then tried to add Voice Input as the "Default digital assistant app" but it did not show up. This would, to me, turn this into a very useful voice search tool.

What I envision is holding down the home button on my phone (running GrapheneOS), which prompts the voice input to pipe into a Brave Browser search or default search engine search. That would be awesome.

Oh, you want it as your digital assistant app. Yeah, that's not an option presently.
That wouldn't necessarily be a feature this app should include, and should instead be a new app using this engine, like the keyboard is.
