To reproduce:

  1. tap on submit in the header
  2. reload page

Imo the section id should be either written to URL or stored in local storage if ids are not possible.

Edit:
Just looked into it and noticed that clicking should smooth scroll: for me it doesn't.

Regarding your edit: in cases like these, it helps to know which browser this behavior was observed on.

Just remembered that smooth scroll not smooth scrolling is not a bug as I have reduced motion enabled.
