Bug fixes, and new shuffle behavior
Fixed bugs and increased performance
Fixed / changed:
- #144 - column headings visible when no songs are loaded

Custom title bar
This release brings a custom title bar for Windows as well as for Linux (Violin for Linux will have a Windows-like title bar now).
The title bar will automatically update its color to the most prominent color in the album cover of the currently playing song, if possible.
This can be toggled off an on via the title bar on all platforms.
Small fixes
This release brings fixes for smaller problems, e. g. album cover doesn't change.
Volume slider
This release adds a volume slider to adjust the volume in the app itself.
A smaller release with fixes of minor bugs will follow soon!
Proper installers on all systems
This release does not bring new features, but instead proper installers for all systems that make installation and removal of Violin very easy. You now can install the Linux version of Violin via snap.
Media keys and new icon
New features:
- You can now use the media keys of your keyboard with Violin -- even if the app is in running in the background! If you have issues with the media keys, please read this
- New app icon -- looks "fresher" and more modern
Complete visual overhaul!
With this release, Violin gets a new UI that does not only look better, but also enhances usability.
The changes are:
- beautified the upper navigation bar
- increased font size
- complete colour overhaul
- buttons now have a more visible indication when hovering / clicking them
- added the current time and the length of the currently playing song next to the progress bar
- the window is resizable now
- added a loading indicator when processing a very big folder
- several bug fixes
New features!
This release brings you some new features:
- Songs are now displayed in a table like
song name | album name | artist name - Sort by song name, album name, artist name (alphabetically)
- Search a song by name in the list
- A new app icon
Quality of life improvements
- Fixed a bug causing song title to be "undefined"
- Progress bar takes up 100% width again
- Customized progress bar to look the same on every OS
- "Nothing playing right now" won't get displayed twice now when starting the app
