Which distribution do you recommend?

As of January 2025, I have used Fedora for the last couple of years and have been extremely happy with the performance and stability of this for my particular audio/music scenarios.

To add yourself as a sudo user with no password

su -c "echo '$USER ALL=(ALL) NOPASSWD: ALL' > /etc/sudoers.d/$USER"
