We'd like to migrate to a new base-component library (over time), that will allow us to develop value-add quickly and not spend too many cycles reinventing the wheel.

Component library research guidelines:

  • A11y
  • Good docs
  • Components that meet our needs
  • Extensibility
  • Strong support in the community
  • Backed by a corporation would be nice (not required)
  • Developer experience
  • Internationalization
  • Component composition (styles, functionality, etc.)
