How To Run Zeppelin Using Docker

Prerequisites

Install git for your operating system or a tool like source tree from Atlassian

Go to https://www.docker.com/ and download docker for your operating system and install it. This should give you the docker commands in a shell

How To Run Zeppelin

Clone this repository with git clone

Change directory to be inside the cloned directory by default it has the name "zeppelin_sandbox"

Execute the command

run.sh

NB

You may need to click the "Save" button at the bottom of the list of interpreters which appears when you first browse zeppelin

You can change the run.sh script. The first number before the colon is the port number you use on your machine (the host). You may need to change this if you already have something running on the port in the script
