Some comments in-line and I'm not sure I'm in live with the sections / ordering but I don't have any concrete suggestions atm. Otherwise I think this is a good first pass.
The host is superfluous and apparently confusing whether the word "single" refers to the host, or refers to the partition.

I took most of the language from the RPM doc. I was using the docs from Pelican
main
as a reference, though none of the knobs I used so far require 7.12.I haven't written docs on tuning the cache parameters (e.g. high/low water mark), nor how to migrate from XCache; migrating a 'multiple data, multiple meta' config will require parameters from 7.12, though.
